After is a cluster of three enigmatic and abstract verses inscribed in stone plaques and set into a retaining wall beside a footpath and a disused bridge support along the Manchester, Bolton and Bury Canal. The sites are close to the Radcliffe Metrolink tram station.  After is a holocaust poem designed to be seen and read only in scattered fragments separated by great distances. This first installation and the beginning of the series was manufactured and installed by Rossendale stonemason Ken Howe.
