Martin Donlin’s brightly coloured glass artwork has become a major feature of the Police Headquarters in Bury. Based on the theme of community and local history, the glass screens use quotes from the public and Robert Peel, founder of the modern police service, who was born just 300 yards away.

One side of the artwork faces outwards towards the community featuring human figures and the other faces into a meeting room showing maps of the four wards of Bury.

Martin Donlin works in a range of materials from antique mouth blown glass to acid etched and polished glass. He undertakes large scale glass commissions and has worked extensively throughout the UK, Europe and USA.
